Disaster Relief . . . giving the helping hand! But we need more!
The rain kept falling, the silt keeps filling the rivers and the water rises . . . ! Many places along the extensive Sacramento levee system have been spotted in need of major overhaul. But it could be too late. The snow pack is the highest it's been in a 100 years. And when it melts . . . all that water and more silt will come down the many tributaries and rivers empting into the dams and complex river system.
The timing in all of this is ironic. California is struggling in it's greatest moral crisis of all times. Last week the Legislature continued to pander to homosexual lobbying pressures. With very active and open homosexual and lesbian legislators, they have now pushed the Gay lifestyle as being acceptable and into the Kindergarden through High School curriculum. Moreover they are now lobbying to muzzle the criticism of anyone, particularly the religious community from voicing it's complaints or resistance. Once the legislation is past it will become a crime to complain! The floods are coming . . .
The majority of the people of California do not want homesexual marriages. They don't want homosexuals adopting children. They don't want homosexuals teaching children. So why is all this happening in a state that supposedly doesn't want that kind of life style crammed down it's throat and into the lives of our children? Simply put . . . when the majority of the seats in the legislature are controlled in both the Assembly and the Senate by one party, which is largely influenced and in many cases controlled by the homosexual community, which is connected to a 40 billion dollar pornographic industry, which is also influenced and largely control by labor unions and teacher associations, which has legislators sitting in seats that are gerimandered and safe for them; there is no way that a righteous, decent, proper and digniified leglislation can get into committee, through the committee and onto the floor for debate for an up and down vote to pass and become law!
Unfortunately, an ungodly, even anti-god attitude is flaunted among the liberal community in politics, education, media, the judiciary, and many other disciplines of life and social order. Our Capitol building has very large and heavy oak doors. Each I am told weighs about 600 pounds. Each door has four hindges. Just four . . . rightly placed, that's all it takes to move and control those heavy doors. For years the liberal establishment in California has been strategizing a planning and a web to entangle the populous of California. They have worked long and hard at getting their people into strategic hinge positions of the buracracy that controls all the choke hold places in our society. They've forged alliances with unsavery and ungodly people at all levels, each aspiring their own agenda, but which will ultimately destroy the social fabric and enslave the children of our state into more heinous sins. The floods are coming . . .
The immigration problem is huge and complicated. They are not here to assimilate; they are here to claim what was once theirs ... back! When people groups, cultures and languages do not assimilate into the predominate culture and language of the existing politic and governance of the land, they will in time stretch the social, economic and political fabric of the nation until it tears. Someone, even today, on television said we are heading for a second civil war! At Montebello High protestors put up the Mexican flag over the American flag flying upside down. Mexicans cheer the passage of the Immigration Bill, while others shout: "Welcome to reconquista"! - "Re-conquered"! That's scary!
These statements, along with all the other social, political, spiritual, climatic warnings should call the Church to it's knees in repentance, cying out to God for mercy and a great spiritual awakening. Only God can change our people. Only He can grant a spirit of repentance, and faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
To quickly review history, I would remind you that Mexico took the land of California from the indegenous people. And a small handful of non-Mexicans took it away from Mexico. Four years ago, in the presence of a high ranking political leader in California of Mexican descent, I heard him boast how Mexicans were going to retake California and a large part of the United States through an immigration war. Look at what's happening . . .
California is in trouble! Because of the massive immoralty, it's like the hordes of hell have been unleashed, especially in California. Can it be that at such a time as this that God has raised up the Mission America Coalition, and has given to it a means of communication for massive prayer mobilization to call the Church in our states to worshipful prayer and repentance of heart and life? There is no one person standing in America today . . . calling the Nation back to God! Oh, there are prayer ministries working diligently and doing good when they're not invading each others territories and competing for the same dollar.
I happen to firmly believe that God is wanting to raise up, under the raidar, a movement of prayer to call on the Person and Presence of the Lord Jesus Christ to come to America in a way that will astound it's people and call the peoples of the world to repentance and faith in Christ . . . before He comes! Many believe that 9-11 was the beginning of a countdown. Could it be . . .
Could it be that God will not call a person, but a people to lead the way before the throne of God? Think about it . . . the time is short . . . the floods are near the top.
Please, pray for California. You know what's happening hear. You see the same news I see. Between radio, TV and the Internet, we are a people without excuse before God when it comes to knowledge. All have fallen short . . . there's none righteous, no not one!
May we use the comunication tools at hand just not for networking, but for mobilizing God's people to seek His face and ask for a spirit of repentance to fall on us all . . . "Oh, God forgive us ...!
Your brother IN Christ,
Joe Walsh
